Christmas Flash Mob

T he ACTS Ministry, along with additional participants from the OC Church of Christ, recently organized and performed in a Sudden Christmas Caroling Flash Mob at the Westfield MainPlace Mall! On Saturday, December 3rd, these brave carolers serenaded shoppers at the mall by singing “Joy to the World.” Check out these videos for the plan, the practice, and the performance! Great job guys!

OC Teen Winter Retreat

God calls us to be separate, to be holy, to lead the world rather than allowing the world to lead us…But in a world of 7 billion people it can be far easier to blend in and become just part of the crowd. In this world with so much pressure to conform, how can we make our lives count for something more than just average? Impact, meaning, truth – these are only found through knowing and following God, and by making decisions to live by His Word we #MAKEITCOUNT.

Throughout Presidents’ Day Weekend, our Teen Ministry will travel to San Diego for a time of fun, fellowship, and training in God’s Word. We’ve listed the details of the trip below – please look them over and contact Ryan Weekley at 775-225-5728/weekleyr@gmail.com with any questions or comments.

When: Friday, February 17 – Sunday, February 19
Where: San Diego, CA
Cost: $40 per student
Housing: We will be staying with families from the San Diego Church of Christ. We will provide the names of these families and their addresses as soon as possible.
Transportation: Transportation to and from San Diego, as well as any driving throughout the weekend, will be taken care of by our Teen Leaders. Parents will be asked to drop off (Friday night) and pick up (Monday afternoon) their kids at the Goodyear Building in Irvine.
